Aviation

No country on Earth is more reliant on its aviation links than Australia - international and domestic aviation is the lifeblood of our tourism industry.  TTF is Australia’s peak aviation industry group, representing members on a range of issues including passenger facilitation, airport planning and development, airline access, the rationalisation of aviation security (ensuring safety while minimising costs) and the implementation of sustainable policies for international, domestic and regional aviation.

TTF represents the interests of our aviation sector members on many Australian Government committees including the National Passenger Facilitation Committee, designed to improve facilitation of international passengers at airports, and the Tourism Access Working Group, an advisory body to government on a wide range of aviation policy issues.

TTF also played a vital role in the creation of Australia's first national aviation policy Flight Path to the Future, and continues to work closely with key aviation industry stakeholders and the federal government in the ongoing implementation of the core objectives of the Aviation White Paper.
