There is no country on Earth more dependent on its aviation links than Australia, and TTF has been involved in aviation issues since its inception in 1989 when it led the case for the development of the third runway at Sydney Airport and secured a $23 million government recovery package after the pilots’ strike. Since then, TTF’s aviation credentials have remained strong, collectively representing airports and airlines plus the suppliers to the sector.

TTF is the only national multi-modal transport advocacy group in
Australia. TTF is committed to improving the quality of passenger transport across the country. TTF’s Members include public transport operators, investors, infrastructure developers, consultants and many others with an interest in improving accessibility to passenger transport in Australia. TTF is working to ensure that people have genuine transport choices that meet their needs by encouraging the integration of transport and land use planning, infrastructure development and by championing innovative funding solutions.
