TTF CONGRATULATES REFRESHED NSW CABINET

TTF Australia CEO Margy Osmond has congratulated NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet who today announced his refreshed Cabinet team to take the NSW Government into 2022 and beyond.

“TTF looks forward to continuing to work productively with the Premier and all his Ministers as we collectively rebuild our sectors amid an ongoing national climate of subdued travel confidence,” Margy Osmond said.

“We will keep working closely with Minister for Enterprise, Investment and Trade, Minister for Tourism and Sport and Minister for Western Sydney Stuart Ayres in his newly expanded portfolio.

“We also look forward to working with both Rob Stokes and David Elliot in their new roles respectively of Minister for Infrastructure, Minister for Cities and Minister for Active Transport, and Minister for Transport and Minister for Veterans.

TTF welcomed other important appointments to new portfolios including Minister for Skills and Training and Minister for Science, Innovation and Technology Alister Henskens, Minister for Planning Anthony Roberts and Minister for Hospitality Kevin Anderson. Both Minister Roberts and Minister Anderson also hold other portfolios.

Other key appointments to new portfolios include Sam Farraway who will become Minister for Regional Transport and Roads, James Griffin Minister for Environment and Heritage and Ben Franklin the new Minister for the Arts, Aboriginal Affairs and Regional Youth. Minister for Customer Service and Digital Government Victor Dominello retains his portfolio in a world where technology and service delivery is increasingly critical.

“We will work closely with these Ministers and across the government more broadly especially with Treasurer Matt Kean and Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW Paul Toole to ensure that the visitor economy can continue to rebuild and recover into 2022 and beyond,” Margy Osmond continued.

“TTF also formally thanks outgoing and long serving NSW Nationals Minister Melinda Pavey for her steadfast dedication to, and hard work for, the people of NSW including in the regions, over some of the toughest years on record and wishes her all the best for what no doubt will be a flourishing career in the years ahead.”
