Our tourism sector prides ourselves on our strong, and hard-working people stretching across every state and territory and age and demographic.

Our industry is a resilient industry. As a united sector I know we can recover from this horrible bushfire season bigger and better than ever. We’ve done it before in the past and we can do it again.

One of the key roles that organisations like TTF can play during these times, is a role of information sharing and open channels of communication between groups and individuals.

TTF recently brought together the Tourism Industry Recovery Group which includes representatives of industry associations, the private sector and government. This group is working to bring many parts of our sector together to develop the best short term and longer-term recovery strategies. This group will continue to meet over the coming weeks.
